The start

Do you want things to get better? Do you want to change into That Person? Do you want to feel happy with yourself? Do you want to change?

I want all this and more. I made this blog so I can record my thoughts and progress for people like me and for myself to look back on.

Saturday, 25 March 2023 :)

A little about myself, I’m in middle school well about to be a freshman in high school. An average student, antisocial and don’t have anything that special going on for me. I want to keep this anonymous just because I’m uncomfortable with my family and friends finding out about this blog even if no one sees it. Well other then that, I’m Rosie (not my real name), I’m questioning everything and struggle with almost everything because I’m dumb.

I want to get better grades, lose weight, make more friends and be a better person. Most of all I wanna feel comfortable in my own skin someday.I feel like making this blog and starting now might not help and no one will ever see this but I want to feel alright someday and I’m so ready to do anything!

9th grades starting in June and I have my finals next week. I plan to study for 9th grade over the summer. I don’t want to stay in 8th grade and I’m already barely getting by. I read so much nowadays, mostly young adult or romance school life books to escape my home life. I’m no one special or any talents so I know being fit or getting good grades won’t help me like myself more but I want to do it so I can finally feel a little better about myself. I hope 9th grade will be better and I won’t fuck it up like I usual fuck up with school.

Some stuff I wanna remember to do this summer-

+ piano classes

+wake up at 5 am

+ study igcse course books and past papers

+ study my second language

+ get fit (lose weight)

+try to look more masculine (change up my wardrobe)

+ make a habit to study around 3 hours a day

+work on my goals for art

+learn to program and read the big fat book for computer science

Well that’s all I can think of right now!

I’m not going to lie, I’m not sure where this will go. I gave up on 8th grade but not 9th yet so I’m excited to try to do shit better. I can’t blog much over this next week but since I’m here I’m going to make a rough draft schedule for summer holidays. I still got school till April 6th or 7th but it’s best I do all this shit now since as I said before I’m excited~

With the help of chatgpt I made this

5:00 am - Wake up, brush teeth, and get dressed

5:15 am - Light breakfast (e.g. fruit, yogurt, granola)

5:30 am - Piano practice for 30 minutes

6:00 am - Study IGCSE course books and past papers for 1 hour

7:00 am - Study second language for 30 minutes

7:30 am - Exercise or outdoor activity (e.g. run, hike, swim) to get fit

8:30 am - Shower and get ready for the day

9:00 am - Brunch or mid-morning snack

9:30 am - Study for 1 hour (e.g. review notes, watch educational videos, practice language skills)

10:30 am - Work on wardrobe to look more masculine (e.g. shopping, organizing clothes)

11:30 am - Study for 1 hour (e.g. read IGCSE books, practice language skills)

12:30 pm - Break for lunch

1:30 pm - Pursue a hobby or work on art goals (e.g. painting, drawing, sculpting)

3:30 pm - Study for 1 hour (e.g. practice programming, read computer science book)

4:30 pm - Relaxation or social time (e.g. read a book, spend time with friends or family, watch a movie)

6:00 pm - Dinner

7:00 pm - Evening walk or other light exercise

8:00 pm - Review what you have studied today and plan your schedule for tomorrow

9:00 pm - Relaxation or social time (e.g. read a book, spend time with friends or family, watch a movie)

10:00 pm - Wind down for bed (e.g. read a book, listen to calming music)

11:00 pm - Lights out

  • Sleep time: 29.2% (7 hours)

  • Study and Skill Development: 18.8% (4.5 hours)

  • Physical exercise and outdoor activities: 8.3% (2 hours)

  • Personal care (e.g. breakfast, shower, getting ready for the day): 8.3% (2 hours)

  • Relaxation and social time: 18.8% (4.5 hours)

  • Pursuit of hobbies and art goals: 4.2% (1 hour)

  • Wardrobe improvement: 4.2% (1 hour)

  • Meals and snack breaks: 8.3% (2 hours)

Assuming you follow the schedule from April 8th to May 8th, which is approximately one month, and spend equal amounts of time on each goal every day, you would have spent the following number of hours on each goal:

  • Piano classes: 15 hours (0.5 hours per day for 30 days)

  • IGCSE course books and past papers: 60 hours (2 hours per day for 30 days)

  • Second language study: 30 hours (1 hour per day for 30 days)

  • Fitness and weight loss: 30 hours (1 hour of exercise per day for 30 days)

  • Wardrobe improvement: 30 hours (1 hour per day for 30 days)

  • Art goals: 30 hours (1 hour per day for 30 days)

  • Programming and computer science: 30 hours (1 hour per day for 30 days)

Note that the actual amount of time spent on each goal may vary depending on your personal preferences and the exact amount of time you allocate to each activity each day.

I think that’s a good plan to follow and I will get around 60 hours of studying under my belt too.

To everyone reading this and to myself mostly, I love you and I believe we can turn this year around. I solemnly swear I will follow up with this blog atleast once a week and we’re in this together. Good luck to everyone on this glow up journey!!!

Peace out,

Rosie <33
